Terms of use
These terms cover your use of the Strut app and the Strut server, run by Santiago Simões ("we"). By using Strut you agree to them. Strut is free to use; these terms are about the service.
Using Strut
You need an account (Google sign-in) to use Strut. It keeps your closet backed up and gives you Runway and hosted AI help. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You must be 13 or older.
What you post
Your closet and photos are yours. If you post on Runway, you keep ownership of what you post and give us permission to store, resize and show it to the people you chose to show it to, for as long as it is posted. Do not post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual, misleading or that belongs to someone else, and do not post other people's photos without their permission. Use Report on anything that breaks these rules; we may remove content or accounts that do. You can block anyone.
AI help
Suggestions and recognition are made by software and can be wrong. They are for fun and convenience, not advice. Hosted AI features have limits that depend on your plan, which may change.
Strut Plus
Strut Plus is an optional subscription that raises the limits on hosted features, sold through Google Play at the price Google Play shows you. It renews automatically each month or year until you cancel it in Google Play (Play Store → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions); cancelling stops the next renewal, and Plus stays until the end of the period you paid for. Refunds are handled by Google Play under its policies. Deleting your Strut account does not cancel a subscription. If the price changes, Google Play tells you before it applies to you. If Plus ends, your closet, looks and everything on your phone keep working with the free limits.
Availability
We do our best to keep Strut running, but it is provided "as is", without promises about availability or results. We may change or stop hosted features, and will give notice where we reasonably can. The app keeps working on your phone either way.
Ending things
You can stop using Strut and delete your account at any time (see the account deletion page). We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or harm others.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Strut, and our total liability for anything arising from the service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited, including your consumer rights.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and the app will say so if a change matters. Using Strut after a change means you accept it.
